The types of data we collect
We collect certain personal data about you. "Personal data" is data that can be used to identify you or information that can be traced back to you.
We collect personal data that you voluntarily provide to us, for example when you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, communicate with us via email or other channels where you register. The data we collect includes your name, postal address, email address, job title, industry and the company you represent or are associated with.
In some cases, your personal data has been obtained from other sources related to your professional role and where we have assessed that you may be interested in specific information from us. These sources may include the purchase of computer records, searches through publicly available search engines and your employer's website.

How we use the data we collect and store
We use the personal data we collect to:

  • Fulfilling agreements.
  • Send you newsletters and information relevant to our industry.
  • Keeping a history of previous contacts we had.

We do not sell, rent, distribute or otherwise make your personal data available to third parties.

Reasons for using your personal data
When processing personal data for the purposes explained in this text, we rely on our legal rights and obligations to establish or maintain business relationships and communicate with you as the contact person for your business, as well as to meet regulatory documentation and archiving requirements. We believe that our application of these rights and obligations is in line with the new Guided Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which applies from May 25, 2018.

How we share the information we collect
Only the people who need to process personal data for the purposes mentioned above have access to your personal data. We may need to share your personal data with our suppliers in order to fulfill our service commitments and, where required, data processing agreements are established.

When you shop in our online store, user data and your purchase choices are stored. This is so that we can follow up our service commitment to you as a customer. However, we do not store any social security numbers or card details. This data is handled in a highly secure manner by the third-party provider of the respective payment service (Stripe, PayPal, etc.).

Storage
Your personal data will be stored for the purposes mentioned above as long as we, due to your professional role, consider that you may be interested in information and contacts from us. You can choose to have your data deleted at any time, at which point our data processing for the above purposes, except as mentioned in the following paragraph, will cease and we will remove your personal data from our records.

The storage of data necessary for the performance of guarantee and other commercial contracts and commitments can only be removed when these commitments expire. Furthermore, accounting records and similar data are stored for the period prescribed by law (usually 7 years) before they can be deleted.

Security
We use technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against loss and to protect against access by unauthorized persons. We regularly review our security policies and procedures to ensure that our systems are safe and protected.

Your choices and rights
You are always welcome to contact us with your questions. You have the right to know what personal data we process about you and can request a copy of it. You also have the right to have inaccurate personal data about you corrected and, in some cases, you can ask us to delete your personal data. You also have the right to receive your personal data in machine-readable form and to transfer the data to another party responsible for data processing.

You can choose to unsubscribe from our email communications, such as newsletters, at any time using a link at the bottom of each communication. At that point, our data processing for this purpose will cease and we will remove your personal data from this register.

If you are dissatisfied with the way we process your personal data, you have the right to complain to The Information Commissioner's Office (IMY), which is the regulator for our processing of personal data.
